President’s Farewell Gathering with the Class of 2026 International Graduates: Inspiring Practical Application of Knowledge and Continuous Cooperation with Taiwan

On the eve of the University’s 2026 Commencement Ceremony, the President hosted a special reception in the VIP Lounge to warmly congratulate the 12 graduating international students on the successful completion of their studies. This year's international graduates consist of 4 students from the four-year undergraduate program and 8 from the master's program, hailing from Paraguay, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
During his address, the President commended the international students for their dedication in overcoming language and cultural barriers. He praised their outstanding academic performance in specialized fields such as police administration, immigration, and coast guard affairs, which culminated in the successful attainment of their bachelor's and master's degrees. Throughout their academic journey, these students fully immersed themselves in various activities and practical training, building profound friendships with faculty and peers, and creating cherished memories of their campus life. The President encouraged the graduates to apply their newly acquired professional knowledge and expertise upon returning to their home countries. During the exchange session, master’s graduate 張昕程（Thunpun Promthed）from Thailand shared his deep appreciation for the continuous assistance and care provided by his teachers and classmates. He also recounted heartwarming experiences from his daily life in Taiwan. For instance, a local bento shop owner generously offered him extra dishes upon learning he was a student at Central Police University. Such gestures made him profoundly feel the warmth and hospitality of Taiwan, leaving him with invaluable memories.
Another undergraduate graduate, 羅瑞蒙（Ramon Angelo E Lopez） from the Philippines, delivered a fluent and inspiring speech, stating that CPU has become an indispensable part of his life's journey. He noted that his educational experience here not only tested his patience and perseverance but also taught him true resilience. He emphasized that CPU is more than just an institution for earning a degree; it is a vital hall for learning to embrace diverse perspectives, cultivating independence, and confidently showcasing one's own culture and identity.
